“A good traveler has no fixed plans, and is not intent on arriving.”
Lao Tzu

Sveta’s adolescence was spent as a member of the Russian Junior Olympic team. By age 10, she drank coffee, enjoyed canned fish and was even allowed to miss geometry in order to train twice a day.
After emigrating to the US, she worked as a personal trainer (Equinox) while studying Sports Management at George Mason University. Inspired by her theory of competitive aging, where one lives each year of life better than last, she obtained a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2014. Since then, she has trained and treated numerous patients as well as received certificates in strength and conditioning, dry needling, thai massage and yoga.
Sveta lives and works in Washington, D.C., with her daughter Sasha and German Shepherd Kilo.
